This is something that has always been at the back of my mind. I've taken my most popular leather, 9-10oz Hermann Oak Natural Vegtan and gave it a hand-glazed treatment. The result is beautifully subtle and is difficult to capture in the photographs. The leather dons a slight reflective sheen from the glazing, and is most noticeable in the smoothness of its hand feel. Because the glazing is such a subtle change, I've gone ahead and paired this belt with a leather keeper and stitched it all together with ritza tiger thread to further differentiate it from my standard vegtan belt. Copper is also one of the standard options for this belt.
My Patented Double Prong Quick Release Buckle features the same quick release action that you're familiar with. Simply flick down on the lever and the belt will come undone. The tension keeps it buckled, and it will never come undone on it's own.
Handmade in England, the solid brass and solid copper hardware options will both develop a striking patina over time. The Nickel Plated Brass option is a high shine silver color that will more or less remain the same over time. Pictured in solid brass with teardrop holes.
To order this belt, please measure one of your old belts using the diagram pictured above. The system that I use is the most accurate method of measurement, and involves measuring from the end of the buckle prong, to the hole that fits you best (this method accounts for any difference in length between your buckle and mine). You can add your measurement in the measurement section above, or you can shoot me a message thereafter.
