35mm Black Horween Chromexcel Japanese Garrison Belt
At just a few mm shy of 1.5", this belt falls into a very appealing width somewhere between 1.25" and 1.5".
This 10oz Black Horween CXL has a gorgeous visible grain and is known for it's immense aging potential. Being a teacore leather (black painted over a natural core), the leather will develop a very handsome patina with wear, eventually revealing the natural core in areas of extreme wear. The raw brass Japanese garrison buckle will also patina nicely with wear.
This garrison buckle is slightly different than the one paired with the natural CXL belt, it is more rectangular and longer in length.
The buckle is secured with hand-stitched ritza tiger thread in black and cream.
Handmade to measure in Los Angeles by one person. Allow approximately two weeks for the crafting of this belt.
Please measure one of your old belts using the diagram pictured above. The system that I use is the most accurate method of measurement, and involves measuring from the end of the buckle prong, to the hole that fits you best (this method accounts for any difference in length between your buckle and mine). You can add your measurement in the measurement section above, or you can shoot me a message thereafter.
Chromexcel is notoriously stretchy, but I will account for the stretch in the measurement when I size your belt. Please leave this to me and do not try to include the stretch in the measurement provided to me.
