Sedgwick English Bridle - The Japan Edition Double Prong Quick Release
It was only a matter of time before I sought out a manufacturer in Japan to make my patented double prong quick release buckle! I cannot express how happy I am to be working with this hardware manufacturer, they are one of the best in Japan and between the quality of their work and the professionalism in dealing with them, I am simply elated!
The 1.5" double prong buckle shares the same style and dimensions as my buckles that are made in England, but there are several key differences.
You will find "Made in Japan" proudly stamped on the back of the buckle next to my patent number.
The solid brass hardware is sand cast and brushed smooth, giving the brass a much softer appearance than the bright yellow mirror-finish from my English manufacturer.
The prongs have been upgraded in beefiness, and the teardrop holes have been enlarged slightly to accommodate the larger prongs.
England meets Japan; pair this gorgeous buckle in this listing with any of my Sedgwick English Bridle leathers. Paired with a matching leather keeper stamped with my signature pigeon logo. Note that any belt can be upgraded to the new Japanese hardware with the brass Japanese keeper by utilizing this listing here, this belt listing is exclusively paired with the leather keeper as pictured.
The hardware is secured with branded hammered Pigeon Tree rivets.

This custom hardware is currently in production, the estimate for completion is in-line with my order queue, but please allow for some additional time in case of delays.
To order this belt, please measure one of your old belts using the diagram pictured above. The system that I use is the most accurate method of measurement, and involves measuring from the end of the buckle prong, to the hole that fits you best (this method accounts for any difference in length between your buckle and mine). You can add your measurement in the measurement section above, or you can shoot me a message thereafter.
